Automated Offsite Encrypted Storage Systems

NitixVault extends Net Integration’s award winning intelligent disk backup (idb) technology to now provide online encrypted remote backups.

Serving as a central repository for offsite backups, NitixVault is ideal for remote offices, branch offices, and other small businesses.

How NitixVault works

NitixVault is comprised of two types of servers, a collector and a vault:

Collector: The server that sends the backups. This is where you have the option to identify the data that needs to be backed up only locally and the more critical data that needs to be backed up both locally and vaulted remotely.

Vault: The server that receives and stores the encrypted backups. The vault may be setup to receive data from multiple collectors. A vault is typically situated in an offsite location.

Once the communication between the collector and the vault is established, the backups are automatically executed, followed by an automated email notification. One can then simply monitor their email, sit back, and let idb and NitixVault take care of the rest (set and forget).
