IBM purchases Encentuate, a security firm!

The decision to acquire Encentuate means that today, IBM can offer our clients a more complete security solution.  Encentuate’s flexible Enterprise Single Sign-On (ESSO) solution helps to free users from the burden of password management and helps enterprises address compliance regulations.

As a business productivity tool, ESSO is a key technology in identity management projects and is a required component for numerous enterprise security designs. ESSO is a priority for our clients, and we anticipate delivering lasting value and building long-term relationships with those who deploy our ESSO technology.

The Encentuate team and CEO, Zorawar Biri Singh, will join the Tivoli organization, led by Al Zollar.
