Ad Video: IBM helps Small Businesses do business!

Smart ad, something to ponder upon. Maybe we should use this for Lotus Foundations?

    Apart from the fact, that we don’t see a product, not bad.
    How old is it? 5 years? 10 years? Can’t be something from the current marketing departement.

    You actually touch on something that could be the proverbial can of worms. Yes, IBM should get in to product specific advertising for Foundations. For lack of a better term, it is in the consumer space. That is IBM not selling to the I.T. geek with this product.

    The target audience is a small business owner who does not have an I.T. Dept, but has grown to the point of having real I.T. needs. This audience is still heavily influenced by marketing. IBM (IMHO) needs to say “This is what you’ve been waiting for. Call this number and / or visit this website.”

    The next layer is having IBM get the SMB owner in touch with the right local IBM Business Partner that can show them the product. This is that I don’t know if it exists. If not, there’s your can of worms.
