Severe Thunderstorm in Toronto kept me up tonight! Pics

Lately, Toronto has been going through weather changes faster than a kid going through his candy collection.

I was invited to a BBQ party tonight at a friend’s place. It was around 6PM when all of sudden the sky turned black and almost felt like Tornado was around the corner.

Obviously, as a proper gentleman, I pushed aside my family & friends, walked over the little kids, threw away my drink and snapped a photograph off my blackberry — to share with my dedicated followers on twitter and facebook.

Time is 5AM and I can’t sleep due to the loud continuous thunder. So, here’s another photograph of CN Tower getting hit tonight. Enjoy my misery.

See you at the jam on the 19th! Lotus Knows IdeaJam.

Me too. I’m in Whitby, east of T.O. and the constant rumbling last night kept me up (didn’t seem to affect anyone else in the house though). We keep the windows open most of the time since we don’t have A/C so its like sleeping outside.

We really got hid hard in Bradford. Power was off for about 8 hours. Trees are down. My bbq ended up upside down and our trampoline was lifting off the ground even though I had put some heavy patio slabs on the legs in anticipation of the bad weather. It stayed put though.

Wow, and I thought my drive back was bad. I know Pearson Airpot was out of power for little while as well.

Brent and Roland, I hope you guys are well and haven’t had to deal with anything major? Any pics? We are in for a treat tonight as well.

Guys, please keep your bad weather on your side of the border… Not the south border, the one on the east side!!! ; )

Our weather is just like yours, changing by the minute. It makes it really hard to plan any summer activity. And did you hear on the news about the tornado they had in Mont -Laurier? Man, I have never seen such a Tornado in Quebec. http://watch.ctv.ca/news/latest/tornado-touches-down/#clip200326
