RE: targeted at Enterprise customers -although the &quot;conspiracy theory&quot; part of my brain likes this idea, I think it it unlikely.

RE: copying whats good -I think this is most likely.  The Sametime icons are clean, crisp, and very intuitive.  They make sense and quite simply look good.  Were I to create an IM product, I would want to use these, or something very similar.
