Lotus Foundations Server Appliance
Just received my sneak preview of the new upcoming appliance server from IBM Lotus Foundations. The server features disk-on-module OS, that allows the server to boot up from a chip. Even if hard drives have failed, your network will still be functioning. It also features a integrated drive based backup system that allows you to recover from a total network crash within minutes.  It also does automated backups at set intervals as well – 15 minutes and above!

With included LCD based control panel on the server and autonomic OS, you can setup a basic server, do backups and more automatically without even touching a keyboard. Guys, this is what a small business needs. What do you think? This is IBM’s magic box for the SMB market. Sean Burgess , a consultant specializing in small to mid size businesses, seems to think so!

P.S. You can also run Windows on it now as well. More to come on that shortly.

Hmm, looks like IBM had some old "Yellow AS/400 tuned for Domino" cases laying around :-)
    It actually looks the same.
    Nice design.
  • Yes Sir. Sleek and Sexy!

All supported worldwide from IBM's support. Plug and play!
  • It really comes with the yellow trim? Nice color!
