How to keep up and remain connected with the Social Media?
It is often a daunting task to keep up to date with the latest and the greatest on the Web 2.0 front. What I do is trypically use a service like Google Reader or Netvibes to review my RSS feeds. I also have Google Alerts sent to me each morning in regards to topics of interest and yes, Lotus Foundations and Lotus Notes is part of them.
As a Web Marketing guy, and previously as a Business Development Manager for Foundations, I like to remain connected with my friends, partners (now friends!), web seo folks, for their feedback, support and anything that I can do for them. It was very hard to remain connected social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Sametime, LinkedIN, MSN, Yahoo, AIM, GTalk ICQ etc until I found Digsby.com .

Windows Live Messenger 9 Beta –
Microsoft has just launched a new version of Windows Live Messenger 9 Beta (14.0.5027.908) also known as Windows Live Messenger version 2009 aka Windows Live Messenger 9. WLM, right now, is in beta stage and can be downloaded from download.live.com/messenger
You can also grab the patch from A-Patch.org to get rid of the ads and other custom options. So far, from my review, it is sleeker and works fast here on my desktop.
Since the new version came out today on the 18th, there is no Apatch for it available yet.
