Earlier this month, video site Hulu debuted its first full-length feature when it streamed the George W. Bush documentary Crawford . Now YouTube is hopping aboard the free-movie bandwagon by presenting Wayne Wang’s teen drama, The Princess of Nebraska .Shot with consumer video cameras on a shoe-string budget, Princess follows a pregnant teenager as she takes a bus trip from Nebraska to San Francisco. Wang cast the film’s star, a then-unknown high school student named Pamelyn Chee, after checking out her audition video on YouTube.
The movie goes live at 6 p.m. EST Friday in YouTube’s Screening Room .
